Workshops and Seminars

ACYA holds workshops and seminars provide the opportunity to discuss issues in depth. These are attended by those with experience and expertise in working with and providing services for children and young people. Material from these workshops and seminars often supports statements and recommendations made in ACYA’s shadow report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.

Between 2014 and 2016, ACYA will hold a number of consultation and discussion workshops, and seminars on the rights of children and young people in Aotearoa New Zealand. These will be used to inform the 5th periodic shadow report.
