Submissions on the Draft Outcomes Framework for the Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy

3/12/2018

On 22 November ACYA chaired a Tick for Kids meeting where we workshopped the key points that we’d like to highlight in submissions on the draft outcomes framework for the Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy.

Consultation is open now and the deadline for submissions is 05 December. Find out more.

It was rich korero! Dr Claire Achmad Steering Committee Member, Action for Children & Youth Aotearoa and General Manager Advocacy, Barnardos, wrote up an overview of the key points the meeting agreed it would be good to include in our submissions. These are attached.

Let’s consider including these – or something to this effect - in our individual submissions, given that by echoing the same or similar key points, messages will be reinforced. Hopefully this will lead to positive revisions of the draft outcomes framework, and help to further shape the thinking of government officials working on the Strategy, and strengthen the Strategy further.

Ka rawe!
