International Human Rights Instruments

Our government must also report under the following international human rights instruments:
  • International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR)
  • International Covenant on Economic, Cultural and Social Rights (ICECR)
  • Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading treatment or punishment (CAT)
  • Convention on the Elimination of all forms of discrimination against women (CEDAW)
  • Universal Periodic Review (UPR)
  • Convention on the Elimination of All forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD)
  • Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)
